LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
happier.com inspires people to be happier and more resilient based on leading research in positive psychology. Through online tools and an iPhone app, users can measure, track and improve their happiness. We're a new company with a focus on the science underlying this field. We have thousands of users from all over the world, many of whom really like the field of positive psychology.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Our audience skews towards women age 30-55, although a bit more than a third of our users are men. We have seen strong interest in other countries (mostly the UK and Australia) although the initial focus for distribution of the stickers is the U.S. Our audience is not particularly tech savvy, and they say they like our site design, using words like: clean, simple, and uncluttered.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
Please visit our website at http://www.happier.com for a sense of the tone and colors we like. Colors we've used in the past are (Blue 007AC0) (Orange F79928) and white. We want to produce stickers for distribution at events, inclusion with gift bags/give aways and promotional uses. Ideally, we'd like the sticker to be the kind of thing which gets people talking.... and we'd like it to have the kind of impact that the "life is good" tshirts did, before they were a widely-recognized brand. We're probably going to use stickerrobot.com to produce the stickers. Dependign on how it turns out, we will also consider using the design as a web badge for blogs/online use.
The sticker should be a stand-alone marketing piece for our brand. It's designed for people who are not familiar with us, and it should entice them to visit happier.com and sign up. We already have a tagline "Go beyond the books" which is OK, but we might change. Another possible phrase to use is "powered by positive psychology". We are also playing with the phrase "live better" or some permutation of it. The URL happier.com should be prominently featured. We are conisidering a sticker size of somewhere between 2x2 and 5x4. We'd prefer to die-cut the sticker into some type of shape (oval/circle) so please be creative in your designing. For questions about the restrictions on cutting, please visit stickerrobot.com and read their information on die cutting. Final design has to be something which is ready to hand over to stickerrobot without any additional set-up on our end.
We tend to use lower-case, rounder, thicker fonts in our designs.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
Generally, we want to stay away from smiley faces... we've made a real effort not to use them in our previous designs. If you think you have a design that incorporates a smiles that is fantastic, then we're willing to consider it, but we generally stay away from them. Logos that are canned/stock fonts/images are not OK. We want something that is playful.
