GUT is a new brand of accessories for portable electronic products (mobile phones, Ipods, digital camera etc.) The first products to be introduced will be carry solutions - carry cases of all materials, nylon, molded plastic, leather, etc. Companies with comparable products are Incase, Sena, Case Logic, Belkin.
The word GUT has many meanings - in many languages it means good but also means instinctive, brave, strong and of course your stomach. Electronic devices also sometimes are referred to as the guts and we believe we are protecting those guts. We have over 25 years experience in this business we have designed, manufactured and sold some of the most successful carry solutions for portable electronic devices. We believe that our products are instinctive, strong and good and our GUT tells us we are on to something.
We wanted a name that would be short, easily recognizable and remembered and although GUT may not be the first name you would think of once you do it does in our opinion fit and we would like a logo to match
As for fonts and colors - since the logo needs to be reproduced on the products themselves and on woven labels we do not want a font that is too complex or the use of too many colors 3 max.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a logo and tag line for these products - although a tag line is not required to win the award. We would like for the logo to viewed with an understanding of our product line or at least the range of products we are marketing accessories for.
It is important that the logo not be cumbersome as it needs to replicated on labels printed on the product itself and used in literature and our website, so the logo needs to be clean,
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
All users of Apple and Blackberry products. Although our products will be bought along all demographic lines we want to attract the younger set at work, play, school,etc.
