LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
We are a new real estate investment, development, management and leasing firm . A finial is the decorative apex on a building and represents our desire to sit atop the industry both in terms of market share and reputation.
The founding partners of the firm are relatively young (32 and 30) with strong pedigrees and significant experience in the industry.
We want to build a strong recognizable brand through a timeless, classic logo that will be used for all of our online marketing (including website), for lease and for sale signs, and printed marketing collateral.
WE WILL REVIEW EACH NEW SUBMISSION AND WILL PROVIDE FEEDBACK DAILY!
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a logo that is strong, clean, recognizable, timeless and easy to use for a multitude of marketing purposes (website, brochures, business cards, pitch books,giveaways etc..). We like the idea of a logo that represents our young innovative approach to how business is done, but also understand the importance of having a classic logo (think law firms, etc..) that implies sophistication because of who we will approach for investment capital and new management and leasing business.
The logo should create a brand that becomes easily recognizable by the general public at a glance. We want a logo that can go on a sign or banner on a building that allows the general public, when driving by, to quickly glance and associate the building with our Group.
The name may evolve . Please take into consideration if the logo provides flexibility for that change. This is not a must have, just something to keep in mind.

Institutional Investors, building owners, corporate real estate users (Fortune 500 firms), real estate brokers and the general public.

Any top recognizable logo that is timeless.
We DO NOT like: Boxer Property, NAI, Alamo Title, Evtex Property Alliance. We DO NOT want to look like a dot.com or Internet company logo.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
We are open to all options, including the option of a logo with just the name. However, we would also like to see what the logo would look like if you incorporate a graphic element that is relevant to the industry even if in an abstract manner.
We are also open to graphic elements that are not directly relevant to real estate if it classically conveys our young, quick and aggressive nature. As an example Camden Property Trust uses a hummingbird that conveys the speed with which they execute, and we really like it even though there is no clear connection between it and real estate.
With respect to colors we dont like orange, maroon, yellow, or red.. but do like blues, greens, grays, black and white. If, however, you think a different color helps make the statement you envision for the logo, by all means submit it. Whatever the logo design it will need to be clear in black/white, grayscale and reverse out. Additionally, please consider logo to scale ratios for example, when the logo is imprinted on a pencil or hat will it be clear..
