Gluten Free Beauty
What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
gluten free beauty (possible line below with our city which is "Asheville" or our slogan which is "beyond natural")
What is your industry?
green, gluten-free, health-conscious, beauty. It should speak to the girlie customer who is stylish and chic but also health conscious and trend aware.
Describe the target audience for your logo
Our biggest client base is women in their 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s. Lots of young professionals who are on top of trends like eating organic and gluten free, without being granola. Plus moms and expectant mothers who are health conscious, but do not want to sacrifice luxury. Besides GlutenFreeBeauty.com a lot of users also visit NaturallyDahling.com and sites like SaffronRouge.com
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
That the products are on a level with luxury, boutique specialty brands like the cosmetics department at Barneys, in terms of effectiveness. But that they are also hip and on-trend. And appeal to consumers interested in green and gluten-free living, without being considered "granola."
Style and Concept
What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
I prefer a graphic and text. I am happy with the current logo that I use that is rectangular in shape, but for the round labels that are needed for black cosmetic compacts and the clear plastic foundation jars, I need something that really pops, and when printing the rectangular shape on round (waterproof) labels there is too much white space. Fonts that I tend to use and like are Calibri, Cambria and Corbel, but I am open to considering others.
What colors do you want to see in your logo?
Largely (true) black and hot/bright pink the color I currently use is fc4fb8(it will print on a white label), though I am open to other colors, especially green, as that might appeal to our market.
What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
Probably not red.
Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
I am primarily looking for a logo to be printed on waterproof labels for makeup compacts and jars, but these will also be photographed for the website. And if I love it, I may consider replacing my primary logo with it.
