Who are you?
I'm an Art Director in California. We are developing an ID for a nonprofit foundation which is not yet up and running.
What do you need?
I need a vector logo that says "Give Power Foundation". This foundation seeks to fund renewable energy projects (Solar, wind, geothermal and others) where these power sources are needed most, ie: in developing countries, disaster-stricken areas, or anyplace people are struggling. The word "Foundation" should probably be subservient (less prominent) to the words "Give Power". the words could be all cap or intitial cap, but not all lowercase. It should not include specific visual references to the individual power sources (sun, windmill, etc) unless they are brilliantly combined. Better to have type only or with generalized imagery that subtly evokes sustainable energy. Logo should have a "serious" look, similar to other nonprofit foundations (Hewlett Foundation, Gates Foundation) but more youthful and dynamic.
Who Is Your Audience?
The media and philanthropists. Want to convey professionalism, earnestness and optimism.
