LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Our Company name is Gateway Industrial Power, Inc. Our company sells and services Heavy duty trucks and Transport refrigeration equipment. We are a dealer of Volvo trucks and Carrier transport refrigeration products (units that hang on trailers and straight trucks. The truck business is primarily in St Louis MO area. The refrigeration business includes the eastern half of Missouri and all of Illinois and parts of Kentucky and Indiana. It includes the metropolitan areas of St Louis and Chicago.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We are looking for a logo that used in our ads and on business cards and letterhead and we need it to be easily recognizable on service trucks. Many of our customers know us as "Gateway". Our complete name is Gateway Industrial Power, Inc. That was a name that we came up with in the '90s before we covered the Chicago territory and before we have the truck business. The "industrial power" part of our name relates to a business that we no longer own (diesel generator set business, as well as diesel engine distributor). We kept the name because our customers can identify that name.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Truckers, trucking companies, food distribution companies.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
I have attached our current logo. It is OK, but feels a bit too structured. Maybe it is the colors, like the red or the block letters that I don't warm up to.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
We don't want the St LOuis arch, because of our Chicago business.
