Gettaround.com is a carsharing community which lets car owners rent out their cars to trusted drivers anywhere.
There are 250 million cars in the US. 97% of the time, they sit idle in parking lots and garages.
We are a silicon valley start up that lets owners earn extra cash from their cars during this otherwise idle time.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a logo in order to launch our website. This logo will also be used for an iPhone app which is currently under development and will be our core identity, used in all company publications, stationary, business cards etc.
We need a logo that conveys our core values of flexibility, community, mobility, friendliness and trustworthiness.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
We would like our customers to think of us as providing three main values: a Community, convenience (mobility) and the opportunity to earn money on an existing resource. Our initial target audience will be students in 7-10 major US cities.
In the near future, we will expand our service to serve other demographics e.g. young professionals, stay at home moms (see personal story: http://annarborchronicle.com/2009/03/09/... and eventually the general public.
