CMOs, Marketing Directors, CEO's, VPs of Marketing. They're 35-50, well-educated, web-savvy, results-based. They like numbers, ROI. For our peers, we want to appear approachable, intelligent, personal, energetic, refined, credible, fun, modern, forward-thinking.
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
1. Credible (want to look professional but NOT boring.)
2. Simple (want to appear approachable, warm and friendly, but not too organic, frilly.)
3. Creative/conceptual (want to see an option with a smart/creative/conceptual element in the logo design without trying too hard)
Style and Concept
What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
Anything that's good. Generally like more simple logos. Could be a type treatment or a simple element added. Would still like to see conceptual options.
What colors do you want to see in your logo?
Nothing too outlandish. Probably stay a little more conservative ("cooler" colors: cool blue, cool gray) but skew "creative." No corporate blues. Modern colors.
What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
Red. Bright colors. No pastels.
Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
Web, print, biz cards, stationary, powerpoint/keynote presentations, marketing websites, blogs.
