LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Front & Center Staging is a new, real estate staging company that specializes in transforming a home on the real estate market into marketable product. FCS works with home owners, realtors, and builders to prepare a home from the front porch to the back door in such a way that it is more appealing to homebuyers. A professionally staged home often results in a higher selling price and faster sale because the homebuyer is able to get a better feel for the home and imagine living in it. FCS pays attention to all the details ranging from decorations and presentation to paint cracks and squeaky cabinetsthis attention to detail enhances and unlocks the potential of the home for sale. In fact, it is perceived that a staged home is a sold home.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
Front & Center Staging needs a logo/identity that reflects the concept of professionally transforming a home into a marketable product that will sell itself. The preferred logo format is horizontal, but not required. A clean, professional appearance is important. The symbol/icon is up to the creative to decide but some preference has been given to something that is sophisticated and perhaps geometric. The overall appearance should be inviting.
Front and Center is a theatre term that references a location on a theatrical Stage where main actors/action perform. Despite this, ideas related to open curtains or a theatre stage are NOT desired since they are overused in the industry. Ideas related to open doors, moving forward, being in the forefront, etc. are welcomed as they reflect the showcase nature of what the company does.
Main goal is to have a readily identifiable logo that represents the company and the services they provide. Adventurous fonts are acceptable and also modern logo styles. We have no preference on serif or sans-serif fonts. Colors would be best if they were neutral (male/female appeal) and look good on white. Client has mentioned a preference for glacier blue, beige, black, brown, coral, and a secondary accent color that "pops" like orange.... but audience appeal is more important. Ideally, the logo should be "invertable" so that it can appear on dark backgrounds as well.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Primarily female. Home owners, realtors, builders. Typically upscale clients, people that do not have time to figure things out on their own, but need to move on with their lives.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
A design that represents the concepts of what the company does is much more important that trying to develop a concept built around a mediocre symbol/icon such as a chair, vase, etc. that only represents the industry. When the audience sees the logo it should be clear what the company does and the level of professionalism they operate on.
