LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
If this womens association was a person, she might be a combination of the wit and intelligence of Tina Fey, the street smart, sweet go-getter that Jennifer Hudson played in Sex & The City, and the wise, worldly, calming persona of Meryl Streepwith the life philosophizing of an Oprah thrown in. These women exude confidence & strength, but not overly so; they seem approachable and sympathetic with a good sense of humor about themselves and the world; and seem like theyd be good listeners who might deliver good advice over a cup of coffee. THATS how we want the personality and tone of our association to be perceived.
The name of the group (i.e., the 3 words in your logo are): The Zena Society
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
a great logo design -- one that works well in colors (you decide the theme -- but NOT pink)* and black and white ... so each design should have a color submission and a B&W submission
A note on colors you use:
*We might end up changing your color theme, though ... we've still not decided what we'd like to go with so your logo might help us decide. We're thinking a blend of many subltle colors ... our favorite so far is earthy tones ... unlikely to be a primary color or pastel pallette.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Working women -- ages 25-55
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
Design Directions:
The words in the logo are: The Zena Society
*Dont use pink definitely not pink
*This is a classy group of people but contemporary, too. So try to create something fresh not overly stuffy, not overly hip (well want to keep this logo for a long time and the hip of today might not be so hip tomorrow)
*Provide both a color version of the logo and a B&W. The logo has to work well on the web and in print.
If your design is selected: We may want to make adjustments to the final design to accomodate our internal needs. Therefore, you will need to submit a fully editable file -- whether it be in Illustrator or Photoshop ... as well as the JPG, PDF, EPS files.
