LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
The Health & Fitness Team is a new company that will provide services to help people improve their health and wellbeing. To start with we are launching two coaching services to help people stay on track with their diet and fitness plans.
DietMinder and FitnessMinder are aimed at people who want to lose weight or keep fit, but need help staying motivated. Our value proposition is about helping customers reach their diet and fitness goals more quickly than they could do without outside help and then supporting their efforts to maintain what they have achieved. The tag line for DietMinder is Keeping you on track for diet success and for FitnessMinder it is Keeping you on track for optimum fitness.
Given the broad nature of our target audience, the logo needs to have wide appeal and must reflect our core values: trusted, innovative, committed, open and dynamic.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need two logos, one for FitnessMinder and one for DietMinder. The logos will be used on our web site, clothing, printed materials and branded giveaways.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
DietMinder consumers are affluent 25-55 year old mainly female members of private health clubs, who want to lose weight.
FitnessMinder consumers are made up of 25-55 year old male and female gym members who want to improve their fitness.
Whether motivated by image or health, both groups need help staying on track to reach their goals. They have either lost their motivation or are not getting the results they want. They dont necessarily want to spend money on a personal trainer, but like the idea of being able to get convenient, ongoing support combined with advice from trained instructors.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
Here is a selection of logos we like:
www.liberatemedia.com/ - like the use of a mark with a typographical logo, not sure about the reversed e though
www.heals.co.uk - like the clean line of this logo, but the weight of the type makes it a bit too masculine, though.
www.vimeo.com - like the modern serif font used in this logo
www.plime.com - like the interesting use of colour and lower case
http://berlin.unlike.net/locations/664-H... - like the clean lines and use of colour in this logo
inkd.com - like this modern serif font
http://www.register.com/titan/index.rcmx - like the simplicity of this logo (new version)
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
Each logo should include the full service name and include an element that can be used as a favicon.
The logos should be easily recognized as being related to each other and contain a clear visual link to the corporate logo (attached).
Were not keen on the use of clichd images, such as dumbbells, tape measures or weighing scales. However, if you have a novel way of treating such images wed be happy to let you change our mind! It's been known to happen before :-)
