LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
our site will collect the creative energy of hundreds of independent walk-in, "paint-your-own-pottery studios (each with their own brand), creating a community for our customers and studio owners. for example, my own independent studio, picassoscup.com, will be one of the groups/ vendors on the site. the most popular products our customers can make in our studios are pottery-painting that we kiln-fire, mosaics, and even beads/jewelry. contemporary style of ceramics is brighter colors and minimal "shading" because its geared toward entertainment for a beginner, not a trained artist. the site would share ideas of finished work.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
i have an existing logo that needs an icon/creative element to add some color. our site will be full of images-always changing, and multi-colored, so although we are a very strong visual group, it must support the "busy-ness" of the site. logo will be in the header, as well as used in marketing on labels, bags, tags, and in-store use as well as internet.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
we plan to utilize web 2.0 and focus on viral marketing...facebook crowd. our brick & mortar customers will be our target here also...tweens to mom's. mostly female.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
i love the jangles.net website look/feel. simple and clean, yet creative elements with splashes of color. that's what we're going for.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
must have funky letter artwork below. (these are actual letters we sell).cant be distorted either.
i lean more toward the sharing/community/dish/gossip aspect, rather than the artsy aspect (i.e. paint palette) since the other studios logos are full of paint brushes, palettes, handprints, etc...but then again, i really am open!
