Describe the target audience for your logo
Individual investors, amateur investors, day traders, professional investors, students, web-savvy individuals...
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
Professional / Clean: We compete against Wall Street firms, so we have to attract that type of client.
Web 2.0: Innovative, interactive, and transformative website that uses cutting edge technology in a staid industry.
Friendly / Inviting: We are a Wiki web site that relies on user contributions, so we need the logo to convey that.
Style and Concept
What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
We use text and images currently, but we dont have a preference. We have the puzzle pieces in our current design. Thats meant to bring together the old and new / staid and interactive / Wall Street and Main Street / quantitative and qualitative analysis. We dont need puzzle pieces in a new design, but bringing together something / creating a balance is important.
What colors do you want to see in your logo?
Our primary colors include green and blue (see home page: http://www.wikiwealth.com/). We can include chromo, silver, black, white etc. like seen on the Apple logo.
What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
We need web safe colors. Also, do not use a dollar or euro, or any other currency signs. Do not make it look cartoonish or use clipart types of graphics.
Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
Everywhere, but primarily on the website. Ill also need a favicon (16x16) created from the logo.
Do you have other info or links you want to share?
It pays to visit out page and understand our business: http://www.wikiwealth.com/. The logo will go in the upper left corner of our site. Also see the about section: http://www.wikiwealth.com/help:about.
