Pixel, an interactive creative agency is looking to design a logo for Feeding America -- the nations largest domestic hunger-relief charity. Feeding America supports 205 food banks around the country, supplying food to more than 25 million Americans each year. Every September Feeding America presents Hunger Action Month as an opportunity to raise awareness of hunger and Americans to give whatever amount they can to help fight this issue in our countrya little goes a long way. HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We want to create an iconic logo to use for Hunger Action Month and to be used throughout the year to raise awareness of the problem of hunger in Americasomething you might see on Al Gores lapel and instantly know it was for hunger awareness.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
We want to reach people who believe that hunger is a problem in America and are willing to do somethingeven if its littleto help.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
Iconic and recognizable over time
Should work locked up with the Feeding America logo, color scheme (Orange: PMS 144 and Green: PMS 371), and font (Gotham)
Should work in 4-color and Black & White
If selected this logo will be used on TV, print, online and merchandisingso it should be flexible in size
It should not be text heavywere not looking for a stylized word treatment but an icon
We like cartoons, but we dont want a cartoonish icon
Be careful of using foods as we already use wheat in our logobut feel free to play around with wheat
Be bright, hopeful, energetic and action inspiring
