Tell us what you need

What is the exact name you would like in your logo?

Salient Law

What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?

This brand will be used for a corporate law firm. We want the look to be crisp, professional and new. The service we offer will be innovative and will appeal to forward-looking professionals. It is not comfy, cute or ironic.

What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)

"Image and Text" or "Text Only" Preference given to monochromatic (b+w) design. The idea will be that the text and/or logo can be incorporated into a macro that can be used to generate letterhead on a b+w printer on demand (as opposed to buying a lot of stock of stationary).

Do you have any other info or links you want to share?

www.axiomlaw.com; www.paragonlegal.com; www.lod.co.uk; and www.cognitionllp.com are other firms offering a comparable service. Cognition is in our market. Axiom and Paragon are in the US. LoD is in the UK. Axiom Law is a market and thought leader. Without copying any of the other companies, the look and feel should be clean and corporate and closest to Axiom Law. The look and feel should NOT be similar to Cognition. We do not want a traditional law firm brand. No scales of justice. No hammers or gavels. No Greek columns. No stylized version of Lady Justice. Consider the definition and etymology of the word "salient". Also, consider the look of the logo when used as a thumbnail on sites such as twitter or facebook or as the footer/signature on an email. Do not use Arial or Times New Roman as fonts. This is a brand new law firm offering an innovative service. Branding, logo, look and feel, website, font choice is a blank slate.
