What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
The Protocol
What is your industry?
Entertainment and Sports
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
We would like to communicate: 1) A Sense of Mystery, 2) Power, 3) Determination
Adding a sense of fun and creativity would also be welcomed.
We'd like to stay away form evil or darkness type imagery.
What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)
We'd like a logo that is integrated with the name - but a logo that can also stand alone (more info in links section).
The name separated from the logo would be ok in the right circumstances, but generally an integrated concept would be preferred.
Also, using a minimal color palette would be preferred - 2 color best, 1 and 3 are ok, more is discouraged.
Do you have any other info or links you want to share?
Here are a couple of links to current logos for other teams in the same area:
http://na.lolesports.com/na-lcs/2014/spl...
http://na.lolesports.com/eu-lcs/2014/spl...
Also, the logo alone is often used on tv-like transmissions and on small icons used on websites, etc - so the logo needs to stand alone w/o the name.
I think the quality of these vary quite a bit, but generally we are looking for a stronger, simpler concept that conveys the Communication ideals above. "Supa Hot Crew" is a good example of what we are NOT looking for, as it is too busy, working is too small for many of uses, and it looks muddled when small, etc.
