LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

Elm City Capital is a private equity real estate firm that provides above average return for investors while driving value for tenants, the communities we invest in and the environment.

We focus on under-performing multi-family properties in urban communities. We add value to properties by 1) improving management processes, 2) creating community programs for tenants through partnership with local non-profits and 3) enhancing buildings through environmental retrofit (energy efficiency, green spaces, etc.).

We believe that solving complex challenges requires collaboration across all sectors of our economy. Therefore, we seek to partner with organizations in the nonprofit sector, contractors in the private sector and government agencies who provide subsidy support for the environment and low-income communities.

Although financial returns are most important, we consider ourselves a triple-bottom line investment firm (interested in the financial, social and environmental impact of our work).

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need a logo that is progressive yet conservative and classic at the same time. It must also convey trust, professionalism and openness. We would like it to be able to talk to potential investors as well as community groups. It must allude to "triple-bottom line" or "socially-responsible" frame of thinking but not necessarily be driven by that concept. Fiscal responsibility must be most important.

It will be used as the foundation for our website and our stationary.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

-Potential Investors (high-net worth individuals, pension funds, etc.)

-Community groups we are interested in working with

-Government agencies

-Real Estate partners (brokers, lawyers, etc,)

-Tenants

WE LIKE THESE EXAMPLES:

My first instinct would be classic color combination (dark green, navy blue, maroon, brown/black, etc.) however, we are open to different options that can give us the requirements that we were looking for above.

Only recommendation would be to stay away from using houses in the logo as one might with another real estate company. Think of us more like a financial/private equity/VC/Hedge Fund type of group.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR PIECE:

The logo must use "Elm City Capital"
