LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
The website, Education Futures, explores a New Paradigm in human capital development, fueled by globalization, the rise of innovative knowledge societies, and driven by exponential, accelerating change.
The site currently has a tired, old ef logo. Were looking for something modern, edgy, and bold. Above all, it must reflect INNOVATION.
The site is written by a number of contributors who are professionals in their field, so we need a logo that is creative, yet professional.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a redesigned logo. If this would impact the current design of the website, were open to some redesign in that area, too.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Innovators: Futurists, educators, policymakers, and technology wonks.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
Fonts: Must be clean and readable. Sans-serif preferred
Colors: Open, but I encourage the use of orange
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
We prefer that the site name (Education Futures) be a part of the logo, but it is not absolutely necessary if the logo, itself, is unique enough.
The logo also must be clear, clean, and easily transportable to presentations, stationary, etc. For this reason, we will give higher consideration to logos that use white backgrounds (and to submissions that include white and colored backgrounds).
This site is focused on innovation, and we would not accept any designs that appear old, outdated, or too corporate. This includes using traditional education imagery. We also want to project a high level of professionalism and competency, so designs that appear childish or overly-playful will be rejected.
