Enso Healing and Meditation
Top 3 Things
Approachable, professional, competant
Enso is a sacred symbol in Zen Buddhism meaning circle, or sometimes, circle of togetherness. It is traditionally drawn using only one brushstroke as a meditative practice in letting go of the mind and allowing the body to create, as the singular brushstroke allows for no modifications. Here is an example: https://focuspocusnow.com/2015/02/13/no-words-routine-launch/
I would like to possibly integrate a tree into the design for a couple of reasons. First, the tree of life represents the tie between heaven and earth so to speak. Second, oak trees (to which I have a strong attachment) are an important part of the culture where I live. Here is an example of how the tree could be implemented. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/657947826782326249/
It is important that the tree look like an oak tree from Charleston, SC (my city). When I had a logo made for another company a few years back, this was a struggle to get right. Here's an example of a tree that looks like a Charleston oak tree: http://www.oakwoodconstructiongroup.com
Overall I want something simple that makes a statement but without being too busy. I'm not tied to any specific color scheme although the enso is traditionally black but blues or a dark teal might also work.
