This Big City
What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
This Big City
What is your industry?
Architects, urban designers, urbanists, bloggers
Describe the target audience for your logo
My audience is made up of people with an interest in cities. Audience is predominantly North-American with Britain not far behind. Most are either in education or well-educated. My audience believe in the potential of cities for a more sustainable future for humanity.
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
The site features intelligent, well-written yet accessible content, and the logo would need to reflect that. It is vital that the logo is stylish, but mainstream. Nothing naff or tacky. The site takes a positive, explorative tone, and it would be good if the logo could somehow represent that.
Style and Concept
What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
Test is vital. Ideally text and image, though innovative use of text would also be fine. The website template features an inkdrop shape. Please visit and explore the site to see it in use. Though this is not a required element, it would be nice if that shape could be well-integrated into the logo. Please dont try and shoe-horn it in though, and if you have ideas that don't use it do not worry - it is not critical for that to be part of the logo.
The logo needs to be flexible. I may need to make tweaks so it can be used on facebook, twitter, etc etc so it is vital that elements of it can be adjusted a little.
What colors do you want to see in your logo?
The site features grey black white and blue, however, it is not required to use these. However, a red and yellow logo is obviously not going to suit a site with my colour scheme. PLease visit the site and make your own creative judgements!
What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
Nothing that doesn't fit with the overall theme of the site.
Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
Website header, twitter and facebook avatar, potentially business cards in the future.
