LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
We are a general dentist office. We are located inside and upstairs in a high end shopping centre (Prada, Gucci, Fendi, Loro Piani etc). The dental practice has been in this location for over 50 years. I have been here for >10yrs. I think a lot of people do not even know we are here. I do not want only my name as my logo; one day I might reitire and it is hard to sell a name branded business. (ie Dr. Maddy Zapantis or a giant 'Z' on my business card). But it is my practice and I need to have a logo for my business cards and pretty stationary. Speaking of pretty, we are an all female office and consider ourselves more of a botique dental practice. I do all kinds of general dentistry (of course I love cosmetics) but we are old fashioned as well in that we see/treat only one person at a time, with high quality work. I have all the latest in "gadgets" and want a logo that reflects quality, caring cosmetics and approachability.I am 39 y.o and my associate is 31. I want a logo that conveys youth and beauty but excellence as well. Think plastic surgeon and you will be on the right track.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
A logo for my business cards. I do not care about color scheme as long as I like it as I am in the planning stages for redecorating my office in 10 months time. The cards must convey is a small space-- Class, beauty, cosmetics, excellence, clean lines, high tech and easy on the eye to read. (I have a lot of old time patients that I have inherited as well). The colors can not be too girly. Women will accept a more masculine card but men will not tolerate a pink and purple card. Right now my office has a lot of maroon (eighties decor?) I will probably be going with a more formal cherry wood-lawyer classic look next) This card needs at the very minimum the following
my name: Madeleinne Zapantis, D.M.D., F.A.G.D.
next line:Katherine Meshkati, D.M.D.
our telephone #
Not too busy.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
My patients and more importantly FUTURE patients. We love referrals. Also I will be giving it out to my colleagues so I can not be embarassed by it. (No cutesy, pink/purple stuff).
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
My name, my associates name, address, telephone # and logo. I am open to giving my practice a "name" as part of the logo/branding process (example "North Shore Dental Arts- I do not like this example). We are located in the ultra fancy Americana Shopping Centre, but I do not think legally I can use their name. We are on the "North Shore Gold Coast of Long Island"- I am not too keen on these over used names either.
