LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
The Canadian Ski Council is a National non-profit organization created in 1977 to work in partnership with member organizations to advance the Canadian Snowsport Industry. The CSC is the central body responsible for the development and execution of generic promotions on behalf of the ski/snowboard industry.
One of our programs is Discover Skiing, Snowboarding & Cross Country which offers customers great deals on lift tickets, lessons and equipment rentals. This is an opportunity for beginners and lapsed skiers and boarders to try skiing and snowboarding in a fun, inexpensive environment. Approximately 150,000 - 200,000 Discover packages are sold each year at ski resorts across Canada. It is up to each participating ski resort to determine the price of their Discover package.
I must also mention that as a non-profit organization, we must get the logo approved by board members as well as our marketing committee. With that being said, it will take a little longer for us to pick out a winning submission. We will do our best to be quick and efficient.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We are looking for a new look logo for our Discover program to attract beginner skiers and snowboarders to our wonderful sports. We believe the current logo is outdated and is not being recognized by our consumers. We are also looking for a tagline saying something along the lines of "learn to ski and snowboard!"
We need a more modern look.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Beginner skiers and snowboarders across Canada. Those who are looking for a discounted ski or snowboard package.
