About Your Company
I tech edit knitting/crochet patterns in order to help the designers launch error-free patterns. I specialize in editing patterns for garments, blankets, and accessories, and I particularly love clarifying innovative patterns to make them more accessible to beginners, including custom schematics and grading. Additionally, I offer knitting/crochet commissions ("yarn for hire") and traditional document proofreading. My audience is primarily women between the ages of 18-65 who design knitting or crochet patterns, most of which sell their patterns on Ravelry or Etsy, or similar websites. I've also helped edit European designers who are non-native English speakers that needed a native English speaker to edit/clean up their translation.

My company tagline is "Where yarn and math come together." My website https://yarnedit.tech has more info about me and my business. Besides fixing writing errors within the pattern, I also do a lot of math, utilizing spreadsheets with algebra and trigonometry functions built for checking clothing sizes, final dimensions of other knit/crocheted items, and validating yarn usage.
