LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
The Cardiac Level 1 Network is a collaboration of hospitals, emergency services providers and community stakeholders who have developed streamlined processes to ensure that heart attack and stroke patients get the best-coordinated care within the shortest amount of time. The community education and outreach program focuses on calling 911 at the first signs of heart attack or stroke as every minute counts. The community education and outreach program will heighten visibility for the project and provide momentum vital to its success.
The goal of the Community Education and Outreach work group is to bring together community stakeholders to develop strategies, messages, and materials to increase the public use of the local emergency response system for heart attack and stroke in Snohomish, Island, Skagit and San Juan counties. Through these efforts, a focus on community engagement and local ownership to ensure sustainability.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We are looking at potentially a three-phase project as outlined below:
1) LOGO development of a logo to be used on print ads, small scale merchandise and collateral pieces including posters and brochures.
Possible Future Projects:
2) IDENTITY PACKAGE create graphic standards; including color palette and font selection, etc.
3) MATERIALS work to develop actual marketing materials listed, TBD but could include posters, brochures, merchandise, etc.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
The Cardiac Level 1 Network has worked to improve outcomes/results of patients (in Snohomish, Island, Skagit and San Juan counties) who are experiencing a heart attack or stroke. The goal of this campaign is to educate adult men and women on the importance of calling 9-1-1, which is currently a low-interest topic. The barrier we face is changing the paradigm from individuals thinking it is essentially better to drive themselves to the hospital as opposed to calling 9-1-1.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
We would like the logo design to convey clinical excellence and expertise, and be unique and easily recognizable. Convince the target audience that what we want them to do (call 9-1-1) is better then what they want to do (drive themselves). NO clip art.
