LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
We are pleased to celebrate our 25th Annual Bucktown Arts Fest on August 28th and 29th!
Art, in all its forms, has been the sole focus of the Bucktown Arts fest since its inception in 1985. From its roots as a small gathering of local artisans to its current incarnation as one of Chicagos premier gatherings of painters, sculptors, photographers and craftspeople (not to mention musicians, actors, poets, and dancers), the fest puts the spotlight squarely on that mysterious amalgam of inspiration and perspiration that delights the eye and stirs the soul.
Run entirely by volunteers and free from the intrusive, large-scale commercialization common at similar events, the Bucktown Arts fest is a place to relax, explore and take in a remarkable cornucopia of individual expression and imagination.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
The purpose of the contest is to design a logo for the Bucktown Arts Fest. The logo will be used online, in print, on signage and merchandise, including the need to resize easily and to look good in black and white as well as color. The final version of the logo will need to be suitable for high quality printing. The logo must contain an image of a goat and must contain the words Bucktown Arts Fest. The logo must not contain any other text. Files may be sent in JPG, TIFF, EPS or PDF format at 300 dpi.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
People interested in supporting/attending/participating in the festival. Bucktown Arts fest has grown to become a neighborhood tradition and one of the citys and the countrys premier arts festivals.
