HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
A logo first and foremost. It will be used on website, to brand webinars, as a signature block in email, in all of my professional correspondence (invoices, proposals) and on business cards.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
I've included a scanned copy of my current business card. I like the deep red, brown and tan. Red is a power color. I also like blues/greens (water colors) because they can portray the calm I hope to bring to the chaos that is often my clients' reality. I want a logo that shows both strength and calm.
Just noticed a color scheme I liked on a bag of rice chips: light blue, white, yellow. A little red. Lots of white. Black text. This has possibilities!
Is there a way to have "beach holiday" colors (escape from the grind) yet still portray strength, results (succeed, make a difference)?
