LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Dairy Agenda Today is a new company striving to be the number one website for the dairy/genetics industry. It's going to allow dairy breeders to advertise in a more modern, upscale, high-tech environment. This industry is familiar with and used to more traditional mediums like print advertisement and adsheets. We aim to provide a marketplace and advertising place for people interested in dairy industry advertising and information.
Users of the site can expect to see daily news updates, sales events across the US and eventually worldwide, rumors that are industry-specific, etc.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a logo design that can be used anywhere from our website, to t-shirts, to stationary, to banners. We'd prefer the logo to be designed in vector format so that it can be resized on demand without quality loss.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Our audience is well educated in genetics and they are used to taking in highly technical, industry-specific information on a regular basis. This is a very specific audience: dairymen and dairy related companies are interested in keeping up-to-date on genetic information. It is an international and worldwide market.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
I have attached a couple of items of interest. The first is the header of our current design of the site. The color theme is a light blue theme with darker blue gradients and highlights. I have also attached two logo designs that the men on the team liked very much, but the women were not crazy about. Feel free to experiment with these ideas and take them to the next level, or to create something entirely fresh.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
We would like something simple and recognizable for our logo. Very unique, but simple. Font and style should reflect an "upward", "progressive", "positive" effect, as you can see we tried to achieve in our previous designs. We aren't opposed to using a cow or a silhouette, but our industry does involve several very distinct species of cows, so please be careful not to use much detail in this if you use one in the design (i.e. certain colors on a cow, bone structure, etc.).
