Style and Concept
What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
Text and optional image. The name "Cyclogical" (or cyclogical) must be part of the design, but both the text and the optional image must be able to be separated for individual use.
1. http://www.pearlizumi.com/ (note the existence of separately usable image and text)
2. http://www.cervelo.com/en_us/ (How they use their accented "e" in their brand image)
3. the Nike swoosh (clean, smooth, motion, works in any color)
4. ESPN logo
5. webex logo (use of two colors to create separation of two "words")
What colors do you want to see in your logo?
Colors are not yet decided, but no more than 2 colors. Choose from black, white, greys, reds, blues, yellow (like Tour de France yellow).
Regardless of color, design must look good in solid white (on dark background) and solid black (on light background).
What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
No trendy colors. No pastels.
Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
Logo will prominent on sublimated cycling garments and apparel labels. Additionally, it will be on a website, but limited print.
Do you have other info or links you want to share?
The design must be succinct, clean and clear, conveying the ideas of subtle motion, quality, and innovation.
The design must NOT be cartoonish or whimsical. It does not need to be overtly obvious or related to cycling (like making the letter "o" a bicycle wheel).
