Palisade Noun derives via French from the Latin noun palus,meaning "stake." The word originally applied to one of a series of stakes set in a row to form an enclosure or fortification. "The Palisades" is also the name given to the line of traprock cliffs that stretches for about 15 miles along the western bank of the Hudson River in southeastern New York and northern New Jersey. Purportedly, these cliffs got their name from the resemblance of the tall rocks to rows of stakes or trees, although who exactly came up with the name is a matter of dispute. Before long "palisade" came to refer to any similar formation of tall cliffs.

LOGO- Modern, updated reflective of next level of Palisade Capital – Moving forward envision look and feel of website and marketing materials to be clean, modern, sleek. Transparent. Sophisticated but not stuffy or too frilly.
Consideration - A logo that had complimentary geometrics to it could be of interest. Eg instead of Palisade mountains in current logo it could be more graphic in nature. These lines could then be utilized in marketing materials eg similar angle in cropping web image. Non related for example purposes only ..logo with outer circle and inner flower, then circle, or petal could be used to reinforce brand eg stand alone circle or petal incorporated into web visuals. I am NOT suggesting manipulating logo once designed that will be set in stone with brand standards, suggestion is rather complimentary imagery, symbols to modernize Palisade Brand eg stand along. Creative expression welcome.
Consideration to future arm of women’s marketing – called “Glass Foyer” representing clean, modern, inviting, transparent yet rich in tone and substance. (almost like timeless stained glass) future logo will be created when division is opened.
OVERALL LOGO GOAL – to modernize, refresh brand. Goal is to honor the past success, respect for long standing clients and incorporate the vision for the future as a leading investment firm in Canada truly connected to its client base and can adapt to needs of expanded clientele. Priority will be to build upon great reputation of firm, current executives, work with client to educate, inform and ensure their long-term financial wellness. Current clients in general are dynamic personalities, well rounded, health and wellness focused, have enjoyed significant financial success, community focused, travel, educated. The goal of the new logo will reflect our vision and core attributes/values. Modern, driven, respectful of current clients in unison with providing unique fund investment and wealth management services. The boutique is comprised of highly experienced and respected fund and wealth management advisors, dedicated to clients and their financial needs above all else. Many clients have invested with the firm since inception. The founder had deep client relationships, this commitment will continue with new executive. Clients have achieved financial success.
