LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
A simple brief! We need a logo for a crowdsourcing web site.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
Present a logo that speaks crowdsourcing! Use the text CrowdLife as a working name for the presentation of your ideas but thats not going to be the name of the site.
A graphic that denotes the concept of a crowd and crowdsourcing could work or maybe just a cool looking font/graphic for the site name.
Crowd related themes you might want to encapsulate: global, wisdom, power, ideas, thought, energy and thinking.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
Look at the Huddles name for a good-looking stand-alone name without an icon or their graphic they use in their site explanation for connecting a global network of people. Look at the spiceworks icon used to portray more than one person or Open a Circles graphic for an interesting graphic that portrays the concept of a crowd. See if you can do better that these though! Dont be limited by my ideas! If you are going to present an icon that repeats to represent more than one individual, make sure the design is neutral related to ethnicity or otherwise make sure it symbolizes diversity. Dont make it too busy, it needs to work on business cards etc.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
It must'nt be too busy. It should have the potential to become an iconic symbol. Could you see the design on a business card as well as a t-shirt?
