The "Insurer Report Card" is an annual survey of autobody shops that we conduct, asking them to "grade" the auto insurance companies they work with. They assign each insurer a grade from A+ to F. So part of our target audience is small business owners (the body shops).
We produce a report with the survey findings that we make available to the public, so anyone who buys insurance for their car is part of our audience.
We also sell to insurance companies the right to use their "grade" or ranking in the survey (and the logo) in their marketing to consumers. So our third audience is middle management and marketing departments at insurance companies.
Overall, we want something more business-y than cute. We want to look credible and authorative. We want to be seen like J.D. Power.
We want to incorporate the year ("2021") into the logo in a way that can be updated for use in subsequent years. But we will also want the logo to be able to be used without a year designation as well.

Another logo we use with this includes the blue described below, so we'd probably like this logo to include this blue as well. But this blue DOES NOT have to be the primary color in this logo.
