About Your Company
Tonewise Music. Music instruction. From hobbyists to working class musicians to Masters level. Trying to compete with traditional lesson companies and be more artsy and "street wise" (hence the name). A lot of the other companies look stiff and cheesy (like staged magazine photos). We hope to me more artsy and "cool". I'm hoping for a logo that is artsy like something you might see from a professional graffiti muralist or something. A lot of adults have a hard time getting the ball rolling with starting an instrument, and a lot of kids hate the stuffy, traditional approach. We want to play up that we offer alternative methods of learning that don't follow strict, traditional, classical approaches. We get you playing. Eventually, I would like to offer gig/performance placement packages. We help people learning to get set up with real venues and other acts (something else that is daunting and difficult to break into).

Top 3 Things
Artsy, hip, real
Don't want it to be stuffy or corporate looking. I'd like it to have the vibe of a print or painting you might get from a cool artist. The text only a smaller portion it. Artsy and edgy. A lot of competitors have this vibe of a glowing, smiling child wearing a turtleneck and learning the piano in a what looks like their grandmother's living room. I want to be more relatable and feel like it can be a part of the real music scene of the city. Not just something suburban moms flock to get their kids learning twinkle, twinkle on the oboe. Something that is cool to look at/would look cool on a shirt or print regardless of what the business is for. Our target market is all ages, not just kids. I'm ok with detail and vibrant color. A painted, female character involved could be cool somehow, but I am not married to any of these ideas. Open to things. I plan on being involved in feed back and direction. Appreciate it in advance.
