About Your Company
We are a sustainable swimwear label from Europe, creating modern, feminine and cheeky bohemian-inspired pieces made from regenerated ocean plastic. Our styles combine floral, tribal and earthy elements with a vintage touch, hence our style is very Coachella/instagrammy. We want to prove that sustainable fashion can also be sexy, cool and trendy.
Target Group: Female 18-39, social media savvy, fashionable, loves to travel, values quality over quantity (durability = sustainability), cares/starts caring about sustainable fashion but doesn’t want to compromise on style. Loves the bohemian/gypsy/modern hippie wanderlust style and is looking for a European alternative to already established, yet hard to come by Australian brands.

WOODSTRK (Our name is actually WOODSTORK, but we dropped the o. We would like to replace the missing o with an icon that can also be used as a stand-alone logo.)

--- IMPORTANT ---
Be creative! Just because we are named after the Wood Stork bird doesn't mean that the logo HAS to be bird or stork-based. We are not selling baby products, so please do not get caught up on the stork.
It's much more crucial that the logo reflects our brand and the feelings/values/emotions we want to convey. We have attached some reference pictures that we like to give you a creative kickstart. Play with them & add your personal touch.
If you decide to choose the reference picture of the Native American headdress, alter it so it is less reminiscent of something Native American, as we do not wish to partake in cultural appropriation. An idea would be to replace the feathers with flowers (with stems).
As for the font, we would prefer something classy, clean and light. A font in the lines of Twentieth Century, Helvetica, Madera and so on. Little tweaks and small details here and there are always welcome.
About the Name: Since our style fits the new age bohemian gypsy mold, we thought: "Hey, what's more hippie than this one famous festival from the 1960s?"
Since the name was obviously taken, we did our research and stumbled upon the American Wood Stork bird - et voilà! We dropped the "O" and changed it to "WOODSTRK".
In terms of logo type, we were thinking about a wordmark, where the missing "O" is replaced by something that can also be used as a stand-alone logo.
