Cayuga County, NY is in the Finger Lakes Region in New York State. Water quality is high on their list of concerns. Some images that came up in our discussion for the logo are: roots, seed with sprout, lakes and water. They see themselves as "rooted with growth".
The Cayuga Community Fund is a regional affiliate fund of The Central New York Community Foundation, a charitable foundation which encourages local philanthropy by supporting the growth of permanent charitable endowments for the betterment of the Central New York region. We are looking for a logo that is unique from, but complementary in style to that of the fund’s parent organization (CNY Community Foundation). We have included a link to the CNY Community Foundation logo for reference.
The tree has long been associated with the Community Foundation for many years. We do not want the CNY Community Foundation logo incorporated, but it would be nice for it to look complementary.
