About Your Company
We are a new company that focuses on creating outdoor gear and apparel for kids. We design our products specific to kids needs (i.e., not just a small version of adult gear), but with same quality that is put into adult gear/apparel. Our target audiences are 1 - parents of kids 2-10 (parents age mid 20s - mid 40s), 2 - those one step removed (parents friends, aunts/uncles - similar age range), 3 - grandparents (grandparents age 50s - 60s). Of these demographics, we are particularly targeted towards those whose parents/primary care providers are active, particularly with outdoor activities (hiking, biking, climbing). Though, we do not want to ignore those who just want to go outside in less extreme settings (playgrounds, city walks).

Our name, Mozy, is a play on the term "mosey along" - or what it feels like kids do on hikes. They stop to pick up sticks, rocks, and flowers every 5 steps! Our company name is "Mozy," but our website domain name is mozykids.com. We would like a logo that can be used both with and without "Mozy" or "Mozy Kids." Our tag line is "Little Products, Big Adventures."
Companies that make children's gear/apparel typically are either 1 - companies for adults that happen to also make a version for kids or 2 - companies that only make gear for kids. We like how the brands for adult gear inspire confidence through quality, innovation, design, style. They are considered the best in the world. But kids gear that comes from adult companies often feels like an after thought. We don't like how they ignore the youthfulness of kids. Their products often lack the "cute" factor. In contrast, the brands of kids specific companies can often feel too childish. These companies rarely deliver the same quality and performance testing that is done by adult companies which in turn fails to project the confidence. When people see our brand, we want them to think of unflinching dedication to quality, packaged in playful colors and styles.
