It is important to note that we are located on marshland about 10 minutes inland from the beach. Because of this, we were originally going to use a marsh bird (i.e. egret, heron) in the logo. However, many of our competitors use a bird like this, and we did not want people to get confused.
Then, we decided to include a fox instead (we have a lot of foxes that roam the golf course, and we liked the idea of incorporating that concept). However, we received some feedback that the attached logo was too "cartoony". Other comments we received were that it was not the logo of a place where a person would want to have their wedding; some people thought it was too busy and others thought it was too plain. You can see the fox logo concept here: https://etdemarco.wixsite.com/linwoodcc
We are hoping to gather additional options to show investors and committee members.
