Creative Brief

Who are you?

Permission Data helps connect brands with consumers. Founded in 2002, Permission Data is a pioneer and leader in online consumer lead generation. Founded on solid ethical principles, the companys mission is to provide advertisers with cost effective and scalable channels for growing their in-house marketing lists/databases. We offer our advertisers access to high-quality customer leads generated via brand specific banners and lead generation ad units. These marketing leads represent potential customers who have voluntarily opted in to receive marketing messaging from that specific advertiser. In essence, we gain the consumer's "permission" to collect and pass their "data" on to our advertisers...Permission Data.

What do you need?

Our current logo has been in use for 8 years and it's outdated. We are looking for a logo that is more current/Web 2.0/Internet Media. The logo should be professional and strong, but fun/not too serious. Ideally, the logo will either encompass our initials "PD" or it will have a separate image incorporating the letters "PD" so that PD by itself could be a stand alone logo in certain uses. Or, the logo will incorporate an image that represents Permission Data - and that image will become recognized as Permission Data (i.e. the f for facebook or the dog for Sirius Radio).

Who Is Your Audience?

Our Audience is media buyers at major advertising agencies, who buy digital media and direct marketing media. It is also brand managers and marketing executives at companies ranging from mid-size to Fortune 500 Brands.

We Like These Examples

the name of our company is long when you put the two words together. In order to create a more compact logo, we'd like to put the words Permission and Data on separate lines.

We Absolutely Must Have

Permission Data
Our full company name must be included. We'd also like to incorporate our initials PD into our logo. the logo must be usable and clear in color as well as black and white. We'd like to keep the color blue in our logo, but we're open to other options
