Tell us what you need
What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
freedom, yield, passion
What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)
can be (1) text only or (2) text + image.
Should an image be present, it should give professional and rather serious impression, i.e. not be cartoon-like, funny etc.
The text and the image can be either interconnected somehow or separated from (not touching) each other. Please do not use cliche symbols for freedom, yield or passion (like the white dove, hippee sign, smileys etc.)
Please do not use any Greek or god-like symbols (as described below)
Generally the logo should look very modern. Please do not use more than three colors, ideally two (gradient can be used).
The text can be all in capital letters or all in small letters or the first capital and the rest small.
The logo should look great both large (full-screen on a computer) as well as small (header in a Word document).
Please try to make sure the logo does not raise much connections towards what the company does (i.e. if you would use for a example a symbol of gold to demonstrate the "yield" aspect, it should not look like that the company is a goldsmith, a mining company etc.)
Do you have any other info or links you want to share?
There is a lot of symbolism in the name of the company (Zefiria). I wanted the name to truly reflect what entrepreneurship means to me (this is my third company). I came to the conclusion that entrepreneurship means freedom to me and that the symbol of freedom to me is wind. That is how I arrived to "Zephyros", who is the Greek God of wind and also a good God, bringing spring rains and good crops. You can read more about Zephyros here: http://www.theoi.com/Titan/AnemosZephyro...
Zephyros also happens to carry the initials of my first and last name (Z and F). That is how Zefiria was formed. The company claim is as follows: "Zefiria is a symbol of freedom, yield and passion. It was inspired by Zephyros, the Greek God of wind". Thus this symbolism should be very vivid in the logo, i.e. it should radiate the three things - freedom, yield and passion.
My company is engaged in a variety of business ventures/activities, therefore what the company does is irrelevant to the logo design - what matters is the symbolism of the three aspects.
