What is the exact name you would like in your logo?

Clean Water Utility Project [or] CWUP

What is your industry?

Other

What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?

Crowdsourcing: We want to express the idea that thousands of individuals can join together with very small contributions ($1 every two months) to create a big change (likely $45,000 to $60,000 a year). Our inspiration for our approach is a quote from Cloud Atlas: My life amounts to no more than one drop in a limitless ocean. Yet what is any ocean, but a multitude of drops? This exact example does not have to be used, but the idea should be expressed.

Global Impact: The logo should demonstrate that someones individual donationregardless of sizemakes a real impact in the world by providing clean water.

Accessibility: The whole goal of the idea is to make donations as accessible as possible. As a result, the logo should be simple and accessible; do not overwhelm.

What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)

We would like to have the color blue (clean water). Make sure the colors go well with different backgrounds, mostly whites but including newspapers and possibly blue (blue not very important).

The logo should look professional and should build donor trust.

We are leaning towards an image with text (use either phrase of text), but are open to either image only, or text only (only use text phrase Clean Water Utility Project).

Do you have any other info or links you want to share?

We are outraged that 800 million people still lack access to clean water. As a result, we are working with our city government (Pleasanton, CA) to ask residents to donate $1 every two months towards clean water in the developing world. On the water bill would be a short description and checkbox, where residents could sign up to automatically donate $1 every two months. We are estimating that with about 50% participation, we would raise around $45,000 to $60,000 a year. All of these funds would be sent to a third-party clean water related organization. We hope to expand to multiple cities throughout the US.

Our audience is any resident who pays a water utility bill, so should appeal to a wide variety of people. The logo needs to attract the residents attention, while not overwhelming (most are on edge when paying bills).

The Clean Water Utility Project is founded and run by four high school entrepreneurs. We seek to provide unique and innovative solutions to the problems that have plagued our world for so long.

The logo will be used both online and in print (newspapers, flyers, and utility bills).

Thank you in advance for helping in our goal to improve the world.
