Can a serious, clean skincare brand have a whimsical point of view? Oh, can it be super affordable? We do.
The Key Ingredient is the sensibly-priced sustainable skincare line for consumers who know and value clean, efficacious masks, moisturizers and serums from the world’s top brands. They may not be able to afford the high end brands that are in Sephora or Ulta. We want to bring the same clean, quality formulas to them.
We are gearing our brand towards teens and millennials. Think: mother-daughter, aunt and niece. We are looking for a sophisticated-meets-playful logo that would appeal towards these age groups.
Our packaging will be white jar with splashes of color — Insta candy, if you will. We’re dreaming in lemon yellow, baby pink, pistachio, sky blue.
The Key Ingredient is steeped in science and chock full of the best clean skincare ingredients. It’s fun to use and it works — and the pretty and modern packaging just screams #shelfie.
The logo will be used on packaging.

the brand name is "key ingredient beauty". For the logo, we were thinking of the letter k the rendering of a key and then an i--- (k/image/i). Concept image attached but im not an artist...

The logo is only the first peice of the puzzle. Attached are some branded jars (for inspiration) that we would like to adapt to our brand. Please consider this when developing the logo. This could be phase one of our work together.
