Business Info

Business Name

Citizen Hill

What is the exact name you would like in your logo?

Citizen Hill "redefining the town hall"

Target Audience

What is your industry?

Online Town Halls

Describe the target audience for your logo

College students, business people, political activists, people active in social media.

What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?

1. Modern- having the latest technology and trendy look.
2. Simple- convey a sense of ease of use, with a clean and fluid appearance (i.e. Apple).
3. Connected- people will be able to connect with the leaders in our society (politicians, business leaders, heads of organizations, pundits, celebrities, etc.) like never before.

No other site offers the online town hall experience like Citizen Hill. People will be able to participate and host online town halls on a regular basis.

Style and Concept

What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?

Since we want to convey an image of being modern and simple, following the Apple image may work. Basically, the logo needs to look like it would look appropriate on the Apple site. I understand that this is sort of cliche, but Apple is known for having a clean and modern look. However, if you find a tasteful way to follow a twitter logo approach, the it may work since Citizen Hill will be in the same arena.

What colors do you want to see in your logo?

Since we will be offering online town halls for both Republicans and Democrats alike, there will have to be a limit of colors used (since red= Republican, and blue= Democrat). Therefore, we are able to use white, black, and gray. I understand that this is very limiting, so if you happen to think of a way to use colors in a way that shows no color affiliation with political movements, go for it. Using the gray color that is displayed in the tabs on Apple's site might work. Yellow or green may work if used in a tasteful way or as ornamental colors.

What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?

As stated above, do NOT use politically-affiliated colors, like red or blue, unless you find a shade that is acceptable. I would prefer a shade of gray if possible, but am not dead-set. Looking forward to your artistic expression!

Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?

The logo will be displayed prominently on our site.

Do you have other info or links you want to share?

We would like the logo to be in an image possible- like a dialogue cloud maybe. **Also, we really like the idea of using a silhouette businessman as the first "I" in Citizen (maybe with white lettering)**.

Please be sure to include the tagline- "redefining the town hall".

We also like the font found on the Apple site as well.

Really looking forward to the artistic expression of designers!
