What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
Blue Oaks Covenant Church
What is your industry?
Describe the target audience for your logo
We are targeting people who think that church and spirituality are not important. We want them to experience a place where they can come have a sense that theyre welcome and accepted. Were not about promoting picture perfect people or lives. We want to show them that church and spiritual growth are relevant and an important part of our everyday lives. We are NOT an old stuffy traditional church. We are new and exciting and want to communicate that. The age range for our audience is 25-40, marrieds, singles, divorced, living together, and those with young children. Blue Oaks will serve the greater metro area of the Twin Cities.
The majority of people in the area we starting our church in consider themselves spiritual, but only 16% think it is important to go to church. That means much of the community is disconnected from the church and not encountering Jesus in everyday life. We want to reach out mainly to un-churched and de-churched people. They see the church as a building that you attend only when there is a wedding, funeral, baptism, or a special holiday. At Blue Oaks we want people to see and encounter church and spiritual growth in NEW, EXCITING ways.
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
1.We are a new and exciting church plant. This is not your traditional church.
2.We are a place where you can come, feel welcome and belong.
3.We are a place about spiritual growth and depth. We want to help people obtain a true and real relationship with Jesus.

More about the name of our church:
The name of our church was gleaned from the actual blue oak tree. A blue oak tree grows twice as deep as it does high.
We want to communicate that were a place about depth and growth, not rules and behaviors. And no matter where you are on your life journey, youre welcome. Come where you are as you are
Here are two biblical passages that our vision is anchored in:
#1 He will be like a tree firmly planted by the streams of living water, which yields fruit in its season and its leaf does not wither, and in whatever he does he prospers. Psalm 1:3
#2 They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord, for the display of His splendor. They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew ruined cities that have been devastated for generations. Isaiah 61:3b-4
