LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Chips To Bits is a web based business that will provide open source electronics/software kits that the customer can put together. The kits will also be sold pre-assembled and tested.
The name Chips To Bits is a play on words being the kits will include microchips and software (bits).
The kits will be real world applications (MP3 player, GPS tracker etc..). They will be stimulating and promote learning about the hardware and the software. Of course, they are meant to be fun!
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
A simple logo that can be recognizable at a glance, that customers will associate with our business. The customer should know that the business is computer/electronics as apposed to a potato chip company. We will be putting the logo on our website banner, paperwork, labels, if possible the products. We are open to a logo that has multiple colors, but can be modified to be monochromatic as well. We like blues, grays, browns.. Nothing girly or flashy.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
High school students, college students, hobbyists, geeks, and anyone who has an interest in learning about electronics and and/or wants to have fun with real world electronic applications.
The demographic is high school through professional engineer. Anyone who has an interest in the technical.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
We are partial to the color blue, but this not a requirement.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
The logo will be used on our website as part of the banner, along with a number of printed materials such as Bill Of Materials, Invoices, Packing Slips etc.. The logo can be in color, but needs to also look good in black and white or gray-scale for printed material.
