LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
I have a small management consulting firm that not only deals with strategy, marketing, profitability, sales and team issues, but that also coaches the entrepreneurs that run them so that they can have the businesses they always wanted. Business is booming and we want to really dial up our presence in a fast, impactful and professional way while still being cool.
We have a lot of business experience, but we know that you have to address the business, the team, and the individuals if any real shift is going to happen. There are some senior (a.k.a. "old school") consultants in this space and we're upsetting the status quo because we bring a ton of new thinking to old problems. We often are brought in when a company has to make a defining difference if they are going to keep growing and when they know that they need a "new success" not just a repeat of the last one.
We're a bit irreverent, very professional, fairly young, international, pretty techy and we move fast.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
I need a logo or probably more like a name mark, but I'm looking for your thoughts on that. The company name is chris venn inc. and you can see the current website at www.chrisvenn.com to get a flavour for it. The logo will be used on a new website being built, generally will be on a white background (although we're flexible there), and will be on all the normal business materials - proposals, binders, business cards, stationery, etc.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
We primarily work with financial advisors and their parent/market companies. This is where the challenge comes in to be edgey (so that the smaller advisor businesses think it's cool) and professional (because we're also working with large financial services organizations).
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
We want to stay really open on this. Although historically we don't like capital letters, I'm looking for your genius here, not my hallucinations. Blow us away with your creative!
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
It's important that whatever we pick can work in greyscale as well as colour and that it can scale in size a fair bit and still be distinctive. Outside of that, bring it on.
