Creative Brief

Who are you?

Can Can is a start up Events and Experiential company based in New Zealand. The name Can Can or Cancan (have not decided if should be one word or two... dependent on what comes back with logo design) is about "an attitude"- can-do attitude and being able to take new experiential and events ideas and bring them to fruition through well executed planning, logistics and delivery.

Can Can's core expertise is in Events, Experiential, Promotions and Sampling activity. Events that are delivered in a slick professional execution but are creative and true to the brand essence.

What do you need?

An awesome logo. (Would be keen to see any tag-lines also).

As we are a start up company the logo will be used in all mandatory stationery items, website, presentations, credential documents etc.

The logo needs to be strong, simple and classic.
I would NOT like to see the dance aspect of the word Can Can to be illustrated within the logo although the showmanship of the word Can Can is ok. (ie. No high-kicking dancers).

Who Is Your Audience?

Other marketing and advertising agencies (working in partnership with them to execute the experiential, event, sampling or promotional elements of the campaign).

Consumers and Corporates (NZ audience). I know this is broad but as it's a start up there will be a wide variety of clients (FMCG, Finance, Technology, Telco clients).

See slide with logos we like.
Also see slide of competitor logos (please stay away from circles, black, green... as you can see a bit of a common theme there.... the logo we like on the Competitors logos best is the Ambient X - it is simple bold and to the point).

We Absolutely Must Have

Can Can or CanCan (can be one or two words dependent on design)
Avoid black logo or green logo (competitors have enough of those)
