Tell us what you need

What is the exact name you would like in your logo?

"Caf Xaragua" is the name of the company, however the name does not have to be in the logo.

What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?

1. We sell a premium luxury brand of coffee. The coffee is single-origin coffee from Haiti, which is some of the rarest coffee in the world

2. We are socially and environmentally responsible - We have made a commitment to plant 1 coffee tree in Haiti for every bag of coffee sold (customer can track the process of their trees online). As well, we are fairtrade certified and pay our coffee farmers much more than the market price for coffee.

3. We have a sustainable business focused on growing the coffee industry in Haiti to improve the country as a whole while serving a premium cup of coffee to people around the world.

What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)

I have no preferences. I am just just interested in a clean and attractive design that can be associated with a premium/luxury brand of coffee.

As for including the company name in the logo, that is up to you and your design.

Do you have any other info or links you want to share?

I am open to anything for this design and am looking for something that is clean, yet luxurious. We are looking for a design that you can look at and instantly associate with a premium brand. Imagine if you were to see this coffee at a luxury hotel like the Four Seasons, or a premium cafe in New York City and what you think it would look like. We want something that is attractive and appealing in instances like those.

Our story is a big part of our brand and understanding it may get you thinking about potential designs. Our company started after the earthquake in Haiti in 2010. We were looking for what we could do to help rebuild the country. Haiti's coffee industry has declined greatly in the last century even though the country used to supply half of the world's coffee about 3 centuries ago. We wanted to revitalize this industry while helping the improve the lives of the farmers we work with to ultimately assist in developing Haiti as a nation. To do this, we created a sustainable business model that benefits everyone involved in the coffee process from the farmers that pick the coffee to the customers around the world that enjoy the coffee. We travel to work with our farmers and pay them almost double fair market prices to buy their coffee. This encourages them to farm coffee and provides them a fair income so they can provide for their families while investing in the country through the coffee industry. The type of coffee we receive from Haiti is some of the rarest coffee in the world.

Once we receive the coffee, we roast it just before it is shipped out to customers to ensure it is always fresh and has the best taste for everyone that enjoys it. In addition to serving a premium cup of coffee we have made a commitment to plant one coffee tree in Haiti for every bag of coffee sold. To make our coffee interactive with customers we include a 'tree i.d.' number on every bag of coffee sold so customers can register their tree online and follow the progress of the tree we plant for them from the time it is planted to the time it starts producing coffee for the customer that assisted in planting it. This environmental initiative helps us rebuild the natural forest environment in Haiti which has been destroyed for other crops as well for energy resources such as firewood and charcoal.

Our work helps us to serve a premium and great tasting cup of coffee to people worldwide. As I mentioned, we are a premium luxury brand of coffee that serves some of the rarest coffee in the world.

I hope this helps generate some ideas for potential designs.

Please take a look at our current website also at "http://www.cafexaragua.com". You will be able to learn more about the company and can see our current logo in the top corner.

We would prefer a new logo rather than variations on the current logo.
