Tell us what you need
What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
What is your industry?
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)
I think I would prefer image + text. But don't let that stop your creativity.
Do you have any other info or links you want to share?
Well, I have the site available here: http://www.btccake.com/
Basically it's a simple gambling site for bitcoins, where users play against each other, betting on these "cake's" slices/wedges/pieces. This means that users will get most of the bitcoins. I only take a small fee.
You can see a simple logo attempt made by me on the upper left.
Oh, and I also did the big image found here: http://www.btccake.com/about
But don't let that stop you from doing something more creative. I was actually thinking it would have been kinda cool to make it look like a cake. But nothing too complex as the idea was that I could then also use it on the site and slice it up like I do here http://www.btccake.com/newcake (drag the "Cake Pieces" slider).
You will get bonus points if the design could include a way to indicate winning slice/wedge. Currently I just use a orange pointer ( see here as an example http://www.btccake.com/cake/f46091d0e2c5... )
So, yea, I want a logo, but would love designs which could take that further and make this cake circle thing itself reusable on the page like in that cake link posted above that slices the cake up into pieces showing who owns what.
Well, just look around on the site. Should give you somewhat an idea what it's about. I also explain it a bit here: http://www.btccake.com/gettingstarted
