LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

Lego Club. This is a stand alone project for the charity Breaking the Silence.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

A logo to be memorable in the Care sector for something called Lego Club. The logo will need to be friendly and playful for men and will appear on charity posters and handouts.

Lego Club is an attention grabbing project for Breaking the Silence, a charity that represents fathers of autistic children.

Lego Club gets children and fathers together in a relaxing and sociable setting where they can network, feel less isolated and share solutions to their many problems.

Fathers are more reluctant to network and share problems than women, who have a special networking gene that is full on most of the time. Dads need to be drawn into activities where they can feel less exposed and we find playing with Lego alongside their children seems to work. Essentially it diverts their attention away from the harrowing consequences of dealing with autism yet puts them in a circle where they can learn to accept and respond constructively with the new knowledge they will gain in this new group of friends.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Mainly Dads of autistic children but also the wives, partners and friends who might see and recommend this project from posters and handouts - and the autistic children themselves who might hear about it from other professionals.

WE LIKE THESE EXAMPLES:

Don't really need any samples as Lego is Lego. The logo needs to be grown up enough not to offend Dads' sensibilities but with sufficient friendly fun to overcome any reluctance to shy away from new group activities.

It also has to be easy to print on a colour laser printer.

The Breaking the Silence logo is attached as it will often appear on the same document, but they don't have to be kissing cousins. Probably best if they're not.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR PIECE:

Lego Club can be in primary or bold colours and must look like it is about the one and only Lego we all know and respect. Being mainly for poster use it has to attract attention from 10ft away.

The Breaking the Silence logo is attached as it will often appear on the same document, but they don't have to be kissing cousins. Probably best if they're not.
