LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
KBS is a premiere steel golf shaft manufacturer with some of the world's best professional golfers using our signature KBS Tour steel shafts. Player's like Ernie Els, Robert Allenby, Geoff Ogilvy, and Kenny Perry can be seen using KBS steel at every tournament where they participate.
KBS is an up and coming company in an industry that has long been monopolized by a single manufacturer. We are dedicated to producing a tangible difference for discerning golfers and are currently planning on introducing a next generation product that may find it's way into more of the world's top golfers' hands.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
Currently, we are interested in developing a new shaft label with the name "KBS Tour Prototype". This label will be used as an interim design for use on the PGA and other professional Tours for testing with players. It may also be put in play by players.
The design needs to convey 'exclusivity', 'state of the art', yet remain fairly minimalist. The label's dimensions are limited at 3.75" x 0.75". But, those dimensions can be altered so the final design doesn't need to be a rectangle. We've found that the label shapes as used in the attached artwork convey a better sense of luxury and performance than a standard rectangle.
Also, the design will have to maintain synergy with our current coloration and branding. Red and Black have been primarily used in the past although white may be acceptable with minimal use. We've found red and black stand out very well on television considering the limited physical size of our labels.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Our audience is both the PGA Touring professional and golf equipment enthusiast. PGA touring professionals will only use the label (enhancing their marketability) if the label is not distracting and if they find it appealing. To avoid distraction, we assemble the label on the back end of the shaft (avoiding the eye at address).
WE LIKE THESE EXAMPLES:
We like what Rifle has done in the attached files though they are slightly outdated. The Dynamic Golf Tour Issue does an excellent job (especially with it's asymmetrical or off axis design) to convey a sense of exclusivity and luxury.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR PIECE:
Red and Black.
