What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
What is your industry?
Corporate. We develop business improvment software. Our software analyses data to give companies information on how to improve.
Describe the target audience for your logo
The audience is executives in business. They tend to be successful and non-technical. They are business results driven, so need to know how its going to help them. I.e. we want benefits not features.
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
1) That we are a trustworthy and reliable firm
2) That we deliver intelligent solutions that are better than the competition
3) That it will solve business problems and that we are experts
Style and Concept
What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
We want a logo that includes text and logo, something like the example below "SmarterFaqtsLogo.jpg".
This image "SmarterFaqtsLogo.jpg" is a first draft of a possible logo. We love the idea of using a brain to help make clear that our solution is brainy. The problem we have with the draft logo is that it doesn't look like a "q". Also, if you note the Q in the company Construqtive, you can see that we want to use it there also.
The tag lines are shown on the image.
The original logo can be seen in the image file logoown.jpg. You can see the site at www.construqtive.com
We are going to be revamping the whole brand so will be creating a new website and this all starts with a new logo.
It is important that the logo is not 'consumer'. It does need to be corporate, yet modern.
What colors do you want to see in your logo?
The colours might need to be a bit conservative. Blue's, greys etc. It has to convey confidence, and be trustworthy. I don't want lots of colours, and preferably a logo that also works just black and white as well. We do like the dark grey and blue.
What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
Probably don't want more than two colours (i.e. grey and blue) etc. But open to suggestion.
Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
This will be used online, letterheard, business cards etc.
Do you have other info or links you want to share?
In terms of case, the original company logo was ConstruQtive, unsure if this one should be all lower case, or if it is capitalised as per the draft example. SmarterFaqts or smarterfaqts etc.
If you have other ideas other than a brain then we are open to suggestion, but it really needs to be clear and simple.
